We are the Van Morrison Alumni Band
We toured and recorded with Van Morrison throughout different chapters of his career. For decades, we performed on stages around the world, appeared on his recordings and helped shape the sound behind one of the most celebrated catalogues in popular music.
Today, we continue to perform these songs from first-hand experience, shaped by years on the road and in the studio. It's a privilege to return to the music that brought us together and share it with audiences once again.
oUR EXPERIENCE
Alongside our work with Van Morrison, we've been fortunate enough to tour, record and collaborate with many of the world's leading artists. Those experiences continue to shape the way we perform today.
Under the musical direction of our long-time colleague and Van Morrison collaborator Leo Green, we continue to perform these songs with the same musicianship, care and respect that audiences have come to expect.
As Heard in Film & TELEVISION
From Bridget Jones's Diary to Belfast, Van Morrison's songs have featured in some of cinema's most memorable moments. Our setlist spans every era, from Brown Eyed Girl and Moondance to Into the Mystic, Crazy Love, Days Like This and Have I Told You Lately. These songs still sell out venues and bring fans of all ages together.
Catch Us Live
Alongside our regular residency at London's Emerald Theatre, we also perform at theatres, concert halls and festivals across the UK.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning for another show, we look forward to welcoming you.
Produced by The Showtime Group
The Van Morrison Alumni Band is produced by The Showtime Group, an independent live entertainment company behind concerts, theatre productions and touring shows across the UK. The production brings together the original touring and recording musicians in a show created for theatres, concert halls and festivals.
WHY WE DO IT
These songs have been part of our lives for decades. Performing them as a band again gives us a chance to revisit the music that first united us, honoring the fans who have followed this catalogue from the start while introducing it to a whole new audience.
